Organize around the way your guests order
Start with a few recognizable categories: hot coffee, cold drinks, tea, bakery and snacks. Give drinks descriptive names and show the current price next to each item. Short, specific descriptions help a first-time visitor understand your menu without slowing down the queue.
Use accurate photos for items where appearance helps guests choose. If different sizes have different prices, make each available size and its price clear in your catalog. Confirm that the guest-facing menu and order flow show every choice as intended.
Place a QR where it is useful
A counter QR can help guests browse while waiting. A table QR lets seated guests read the menu at their own pace. You can also share your main menu link with customers who want to see what you serve before visiting.
Choose a clean, well-lit place for the printed code. Avoid placing it over a busy background or shrinking it until phones struggle to focus. Scan the final printed copy, not only the image on your screen.
Keep seasonal drinks and sold-out items current
Your digital menu should reflect what the café can serve today. Add seasonal items with their correct prices, update descriptions when recipes change, and hide unavailable products through your catalog controls. Check the public menu after saving.
Keeping the same shop link lets your existing QR open the updated menu. Avoid making a new shop for each seasonal menu: it creates a different destination and can leave older printed codes pointing to the wrong catalog.
Set expectations for ordering and collection
When ordering is enabled for your café, guests can select available items and submit an order. Your team should monitor the order workspace and tell guests whether to collect at the counter or wait for table service.
Customer payment is currently handled at the business. Special requests and allergy questions should go directly to your staff; do not assume that an order includes a preparation note. Guests need an internet connection to load the menu and place an order.
Try the experience before setting up
Open the sample café menu on your phone to see the customer experience. Its products, prices and order examples are demonstration content. Use your own menu and photos when creating your business.
