1. Prepare your products or services
Group your offerings into useful categories and check names, prices and availability. Pick clear photos that represent the real items. Prepare your business name and contact details, and decide who will keep the catalog current.
A café can start with drinks and snacks; a retail shop with product categories; a salon or printing business with clearly defined services. Explain sizes, units or service scope wherever they affect the listed price. For appointments, custom jobs and quotes, arrange the details directly with customers.
2. Create an account and review the plans
Register your ScanKaroMenu account, then review Basic, Pro and Business. Check the current price and included limits. If your selected plan requires payment, complete the plan checkout before setting up your business.
Plan prices can change, so use the amounts displayed in the live pricing section. If a completed payment is not reflected in your account, use the available refresh option or contact support with the order reference.
3. Add your business and products
Enter your shop details during setup. Add menu items with a category, price and photo where available. The setup flow also offers menu-image import: if you use it, review the imported item names, categories and prices before sharing your menu.
Save your products and check that active items appear in the public menu. Do not publish generated or imported details without checking them against what your business serves.
4. Test the customer experience
Open your own public menu link on a phone. Check the business name, categories, item photos and prices. If you enable ordering, review the cart and checkout flow. Submitting a checkout on your live menu creates a real order, so coordinate any test with your staff.
Confirm how your team will receive orders, collect payment at the business and handle allergy questions. The separate sample menu is available for exploring the demonstration experience.
5. Generate, print and scan your QR code
Open the QR section of your workspace and download your menu QR. For table ordering, set up the tables and use each table’s matching QR code. Keep the clear margin around the code and print it on a surface with good contrast.
Scan the printed result on more than one phone. Verify the business and table destination, and make sure the place where you display the code has usable internet access. Keep another way to view the menu available for guests who need it.
6. Maintain the menu behind the code
Update prices, photos and availability in your existing shop. Recheck the customer view after important changes. Your printed QR continues to point to the same destination as long as you retain its shop URL.
If a scan stops working, first open the URL directly and check the connection. Then check the print quality, the shop’s availability and whether the destination URL changed. For account or setup help, email help@scankaromenu.com.
